Case Manager (12m FTC)

About your work
The role of a Case Manager is to take responsibility for a pipeline of Buy-to-Let and Residential cases. Throughout this process, the Case Manager will assist brokers and/or solicitors with their application and demonstrate the ability to manage expectations and deadlines, whilst providing an excellent service that encourages repeat business.
The role holder will be responsible for compiling the electronic case file and chasing down all outstanding requirements in preparation for underwriter assessments, or completion. They will also be responsible for chasing their individual pipeline and ensuring that cases are offered, or complete, as efficiently as possible.
Attention to detail is key and the job holder must be able to manage time effectively and meet the teams demanding SLA’s, be proactive and communicate in a professional and friendly manner.
Please note this role is a 12m fixed term contract.
Key Responsibilities
Set up the electronic file and prepare the application for the underwrite or completion
Ensure fee payments are taken promptly and accurately
Instruct valuations and chase a timely inspection; including raising post valuation queries
Process solicitor instructions
Review incoming documents and support the satisfying of credit policy/legal conditions
Review reports: FRAs, Damp & Timber, Coal mining, Asbestos, Tree/Arboricultural, Japanese Knotweed
Assist brokers and solicitors with the application process and ensure responses are prompt and professional as well as providing updates at every stage
Available for inbound and outbound calls
Keep case files and related data fully up to date and 100% accurate
Proactively manage your pipeline and chase outstanding tasks
Work closely with underwriting/other departments to ensure a quick and smooth progression of the case
Maintain and build positive relationships with brokers, valuers and solicitors
Prepare for and contribute to team meetings and assist with improvement to processes and systems changes

Excellent administration, computer literacy and communication skills with a good eye for detail
Ability to form strong and positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Able to demonstrate a good understanding of Credit Referencing Agency reports, KYC, AML and fraud prevention systems
Experience of mortgage case management (an advantage)
CeMap qualified (an advantage)
Understanding of legal queries (an advantage)
