National Account Manager
We’re looking for an experienced National Account Manager to join our growing Commercial team and play a key role in expanding our intermediary partnerships across the UK.

About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced National Account Manager to join our growing Commercial team and play a key role in expanding our intermediary partnerships across the UK. This role will cover our full mortgage product suite – bridging, buy-to-let, and residential mortgages. We are particularly keen to speak with individuals who bring strong experience in bridging finance and the specialist buy-to-let market. You’ll be instrumental in driving business growth by building strategic broker relationships, ensuring intermediaries are well-informed, supported, and confident in placing business with LendInvest.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key intermediary partners at both head office and field level.
- Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring regular engagement and open communication.
Strategic Account Development
- Develop and implement account growth strategies tailored to each intermediary partner.
- Regularly review performance, identify opportunities, and adapt approaches to maximise results.
Market Insight & Positioning
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and broader industry developments.
- Use insights to position our proposition effectively and remain competitive.
Training & Enablement
- Deliver engaging training sessions and provide ongoing educational support to intermediary partners and their advisors.
- Ensure intermediaries understand our product range, lending criteria, and application process.
Event Support & Marketing Collaboration
- Support and coordinate intermediary events and promotional campaigns.
- Negotiate event opportunities and collaborate on marketing initiatives with key partners.
Business Flow & Customer Experience
- Facilitate broker understanding of our proposition to encourage quality application flow.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure brokers and their clients experience a smooth and efficient journey.
Networking
- Proactively expand your network within the mortgage intermediary space to identify new opportunities and strengthen industry presence.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a National Account Manager within the mortgage lending industry.
- Strong knowledge of specialist mortgage products (especially complex BTL and Bridging finance), lending criteria, and the end-to-end mortgage process.
- Demonstrated ability to build and grow strategic relationships with intermediaries and distributors.
- Confident negotiator with a track record of securing business opportunities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated, commercially minded, and comfortable working independently with national travel as required.
