FP&A Analyst
We are looking for FP&A Analyst to join our finance team and oversee our budgeting and planning processes, monitor operational efficiency, and provide strategic advice on our asset portfolio.

What you’ll be doing
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join an established team and grow your career. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is responsible for our forward-looking financial information and scenario analysis to support our ambitious growth plans. They also deliver key management information and financial analysis to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to help steer decisions and provide valuable business insight.
Reporting to and partnering with the Head of FP&A, you will be accountable for running the business’ budgeting and planning processes, monitoring and advising on the efficiency of operations and the asset portfolio, as well as business partnering with sales, capital markets, legal and marketing.
Develop and maintain the business forecasting model and re-forecasting process keeping up to date with new product launches, investors and strategies.
Perform scenario analysis using the forecasting model to support business decisions and assess the impact of pricing changes or stress events.
Prepare insightful and succinct discussion papers to the Executive Committee.
Prepare/review key pieces of management information ensuring integrity and accuracy of data.
Prepare the annual budget used by the business to monitor performance and control
operational expenditure.
Support and challenge the commercial decisions of the business.
Work on special ad-hoc projects as required, supporting the Head of FP&A.
What we’d need you to have
Newly Qualified Accountant (ICAEW or equivalent) with strong analytical and technical skills.
Experience of working in an FP&A or business partnering role producing financial analysis and forecast information.
Exceptional MS Excel skills including the use of VBA, automation and macros. Competent and efficient with manipulating data from different sources.
A clear and logical approach to problem-solving with the ability to interpret both financial and non-financial impacts of commercial decisions.
Solid attention to detail
Ability to manage a variety of responsibilities, prioritise and meet deadlines accordingly.
Outstanding influencing, verbal and written communication skills - confident to present and converse with all levels of seniority within the business.
What we’d like you to have
Proficiency with Adaptive Insights, Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides), Netsuite & Tableau including Excel and power query.
Financial services knowledge and previous secured property lending experience.
