Treasury Markets Associate
We are currently looking for an experienced Treasury Markets Associate to become an integral part of our treasury team based in London.

About the role
We are currently looking for an experienced Treasury Markets Associate to become an integral part of our treasury team based in London. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and analytical professional with approximately 3 years of experience and a deep working knowledge of loan/mortgage products. Ideal candidates will have a background working with banks, credit providers, rating agencies, lending platforms, and/or other financial services organisations.
Key Responsibilities
-Analyse property loan portfolios that sit in a variety of funding sources, as well as review and deliver regular reporting to investors.
-Take responsibility for the day-to day management of large institutional investor accounts and be the primary contact for operational queries.
-Work closely with Director of Treasury Markets on capital allocation, scenario modelling and lending margin analysis
-Assist with the preparation of various treasury risk and ALCO reports
About You
-Technically minded with very strong Excel skills (working knowledge of logical functions, statistical analysis; VBA/Macro experience a plus)
-Comfortable working with large datasets with the ability to transform them into meaningful analysis.
-Must be confident when dealing and interacting with institutional or sophisticated investors.
-Good writing skills and an exceptional eye for detail.
University graduate, ideally with a degree in mathematics, economics, investment or finance with a quantitative focus.
-At least 3 years experience with a financial institution in an analyst/associate role.
-A flexible attitude to doing what needs to be done is essential.
-Ability to see the bigger picture/team goal as a priority, whilst still being motivated by personal KPIs & supporting a risk excellence culture
-Ability to work in a very fast-paced work environment, to have initiative and to understand the vision of the company, and to understand how your role works towards fulfilling the company’s goals.
-Experience in financial analysis is essential for the successful candidate.
Desirable
-Experience working in a similar capacity at a specialist lender, in a Financial Institutions Group of a bank, or in a corporate finance team advising specialist lenders
